Nope. I bought mine 2nd hand in 2007 for $800. Best hunting money I’ve ever spent.

Excellent glass. If you can afford them you should buy them.

Well dang, they were out of stock. I am going to pull the trigger when they get some more in...

Will look at the EL ranges too

Best hunting purchases I’ve made hands down. We have several pairs of binos and several scopes and really like them all. Customer service is right at the top for any company you will deal with. Sent my sons binos off, got them back looking brand new in about 4 weeks. Sent my wife’s off today. I can’t recommend them enough.

Because you need the EL Range instead!

Damon I had the EL range Binos. They won’t range anything under 33-35 yards. And they were hit or miss on soft targets past 600 yards.

Not to mention they were noticeably heavier.

I sold them and went back to regular ELs and a Sig Kilo rangefinder.

Only reason not to buy them would be cost, but I don’t know your finances so I can’t tell you not to buy them! If you can afford it then get after it!

The EL Range felt clunky to me...I have a rangefinder.

I bought the old SLC and love them. Well worth the $$$

The EL's are better, no doubt. But I don't think they are worth the extra $$$.

I mean, the SLCs are great? Ive never looked through the ELs but there’s a reason they’re more expensive. After all, if you keep them for 20 years they’re only $8.50 a month!?!

About exactly the same deal here. SLC 10X42 Just had them refurbished for free and they look like new. Could have gotten new front lenses for $200
