I've used black palm many times most of the time on my kitchen knives, but I've never used the end grain. White corian spacer and white liners on the wood. I love the way it looks on the bolsters. I may buy a later block of it and cross cut it for scales. High Carbon 1075 satin finish 8 1/4 OAL with a 3 1/2 cutting edge. I'll make the sheath tomorrow (Friday). This is a good model for me. The last one I did was Buckshot Pattern Damascus.

Thanks guys, just as soon as I posted it on face book I got requests for three; one in Damascus with two sheaths. I really like the way that Black Palm turned out, I normally keep it in stock.
