Buckle up Patriots. Many of TBHs premiere rioters have descended on the ranch in Frio county to assert our love of God, country and beasts of the brush.

Kelsey and I made it in time to infiltrate George's and #29 respectively. I've punched the win column with a handsome boar that fell to my jak hammer a half hour ago.

Les and Colette are hunkered down at 7.5 and 8. I'm not sure any other bowhunters made it in time to hunt. However, Gary and his buddy Jim are hanging out in the rifle blind known as #7!

Michael, Jeanette, Hannah, Cady, Mary and Kevin will storm the gate after dark as will Jim, Clyde and they're daughters!

Sit tight, pound the refresh button and follow along as we take over the brush outside of Pearsall, Texas!

Great opening Casey!

The best to all this weekend! Pour on the red paint. And set those fields afire with the color red.

Great set this evening. I foresee this 8pt hanging on the hook sometime this weekend. My shot window was to small, and it was a tad to dark to video.

Pretty happy with my pig. Anytime a pig dies in sight in this brush you've gotten away with something. He poured the blood out!!Name: 20210108_202711.jpg

I think that pig will make a nice euro. Kelsey and i decapitated it last night after dinner.

Back in Georges. A little worried the propane heater is too loud. Thoughts? Name: 20210109_064633.jpg

Those are a little louder. I would say it depends on how mad at them you are! It's a little chilly this morning.

Good luck

Very quiet, so far this morning. All the critters must be huddled up trying to stay warm.

We have a funky 8 here in one sendero and a big boar in another. 8 point is a 4 year old - gets a pass. Boar too far (should be both hunting today!)

Kelsey has been covered in deer all morning. I'm not having much luck. But, that's what extreme bowhunting in harsh conditions is all about.

Got Colette set up where the mature deer was this morning. Hope he shows back up! Cady is still at Rattlinf Hill, and has a great buck of her own that she is after. She got drawn on him this morning, but another deer busted her, and off they went! I've moved to 23. Not to far from Colette. Hope she gets a chance at him. Was out front of me for about 35 minutes and never spooked.
