Anyone ever put duckweed in a stock tank to attract ducks?

If so, was it hard to control?

It can cover a stock tank easily in warm weather and dies back in the winter after a good cold front.

**** what a beautiful bird. Bucket list bird for me even though I kicked that bucket over years ago. I’d still like one to go with my blue and green wing. Congrats!

Yep. We rotated. It was a one in a lifetime hunt for us. When the birds were coming on the left, folks kept rotating to that end to get a limit.

Hopefully not jinxing it but there were a ton of ducks in the wetlands when we got here this afternoon.
Well, we were pretty much covered up at LST. I had a buddy and my youngest in the blind with me and we were letting her have first crack at them, so getting limits too a bit longer than normal. 3 other guys are in my other blind wrapping up their limits due to poor shooting. Glad to see some greenheads in the mix this hunt.

Awesome! In all the years I chased ducks I saw one! It came in after I was done and was picking up decoys and landed next to me!

Finally escaped the house today! Been about a month! Shot 6 teal. Good morning with my old dog. Hope that wasn't her last hunt. But life throws a curve sometimes. Thankful we got out at least!

Y'all hunting and I'm over the road taking pics thru the windshield of my Kenworth. Living vicariously thru y'all. Keep laying them down

First trip to the coast today! We had our 6 redhead drakes in 15 minutes! Hunted another hour and killed one pintail. Never been here before so it was a cool change of pace! Airboat ride was cool too. Got a good chuckle out of fhe ear muffs for the dog!
