Sam Houston National Forest

I plan on camping and hunting at Sam Houston the entire week after Thanksgiving.
I hope to be camping at Stubblefield park so if anyone is in the area give me a shout. I'd like to share my fire, a beer and some lies.

Got to check out Stubblefield park last Sunday. We stayed in a hotel Friday to Monday.

For a place they call primitive I thought it was pretty decent.

Only reason we didn't camp is because I thought you had to cross a bridge to get to the campground, and the bridge is out.

Only saw one deer this week and it was being chased by a yellow lab [emoji53]
I have had a good time.

Today I found a magazine with 3 rounds of 270 while in the woods.
I don't recognize the the mag but if you guys know somebody that lost one in the Sam Houston forest, send them my way.
