    "Bruiser" Back From the Taxi

Picked up “Bruiser” from Chance recently and thought I’d share a few pics. We had 4 years of history with him and he was at least 8 years old, if not older, when I shot him. He never threw any of that character until the year I killed him. Beams are 2.625” from touching in the front. Free range hill country buck.

    Here are a couple LDP’s.

Not bad for an old character buck, right Bones and Larry?

That mount shows the buck off very well. That buck was one of the most memorable tracking/recoveries I’ve been apart of. As the non-shooter, it was fun working as a team to pick the trail apart. He left a fair amount of blood and didn’t run too far, but I got to enjoy the process with close friends. The tailgate party made my head hurt though.
