Thoughts on What this structure is

Saw this thing on my New Mexico hunt in a small community next to Truth or Consequences. It appears it’s been there many decades. Reminds me of an old Tesla tower. Hard to see but does have a cage type top on it. Located at an old lumber yard ( sign out front)

Maybe a saw dust silo for resale, or some type of place to burn bad wood?

Its a Kiln Tower ....where they burn the alien ships.

Saw one like that. They had a water tank on top of it. Pumped water from a pond to the tank. Tank supplied small home

The sawmills and rails to haul were going big in the early 1900-1930’ in NM those were kilns. Many of the mills were in towns near the mountains were they were cutting mostly Douglas fir.
