    Deer meat after buzzards??

In Bandera this weekend I smoked a doe with an arrow. Not a great amount of blood at feeder and it was a cool morning so I gave the doe about an hour and a half just in case.

Within that time a ton of buzzards found her because she died kind of out in the open.

I kept the front quarters and back straps only.

Anyone have experience with this…is the meat going to be ok??

They didn’t touch and area I kept.

Bet buzzards didn’t do that. Yotes likely did the carnage and buzzards moved in later.
On our place in South Texas, if you don’t get to your animal quickly, yotes will destroy it and buzzards will be right behind them. Buzzards likely couldn’t tear up that much skin in a hour n a half.

                Coyotes chewed on that deer.

You get way To many tags to be eating that.

Buzzards carry a lot of diseases. Give the coyotes their Supper.

Looks like the Mescan Air Force had some help.

Keep your tag and dump it. Also you can get permits to thin out the buzzards.
