Gvtc cable guy fell through the ceiling

Guy came to install some fiber optics wire and we heard a loud crash
Got some pictures because he claims he didn’t do the damage
He weighs about 275 and says management has to agree if he fell through
It’s laughable he doesn’t want to take responsibility and insulting my eyes and intelligence
He saved his self from a very long fall by grabbing the a/c duct and tearing it down to

He is upset about me calling him out on being 275+ and thinking he can stand on Sheetrock ( idiot).

Great. Another exaggerated weight thread. That guy doesn't sniff 250. Maybe its camera angle

You better make you have nothing loose or removable around where he “didn’t” fall thru. I’ve heard of companies saying it was the HOs fault bc they had a loose board over the studs/joists and their employee didn’t know about it.

On another yet similar note, I fell thru one of my neighbor’s attic replacing an a/c coil once and it hurt like helll. Broke 4 ribs and bruised the crap outa my entire left side. I stepped on a short piece of 2x6 he had across several joists and it was loose. Next thing I know I’m dangling over his MIL who was 90 years old and laying in her bed directly beneath me. The joists caught me from falling onto her but broke bones in doing so.

Next time call 911 it’s a great tool to document what happened.

That sucks, hope they make it right. Please don't call 911 for non emergencies, they have plenty of actual emergencies to respond to.
