Dad hit the lotto
My dad called me today and asked if I wanted to go on a south Texas trophy hunt. I replied when, where and how much! He proceeded to tell me that he had just received a call from TPWD stating that he won the Premium Deer Hunt through the draw system! I couldn’t believe it, he puts in every year, but never expected to win one. I get to go as his guest, it will be on the Caiman ranch in December. I am extremely excited for him, he has hunted his entire life, and never killed a true trophy deer. At 78, he doesn’t have a lot of quality hunting years left, so we’ll make this one the most special hunt possible. Supposed to be getting a letter soon stating the Hunt specifics, can’t wait!
