July 2 day shoot South Plains Archery

    Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to remind everyone that our two day shoot is this weekend, July 16th and 17th. We will set up the course on Thursday if anyone would like to help since the temperature will be hot all the help we can get is appreciated.

Couple of reminders on the 2 day shoot. It is a 40 target course. You may shoot all 40 targets in one day or split it between the two days to avoid the heat. You may shoot in multiple classes but please shoot your normal class first to keep everything as fair as possible. If you plan to shoot in the known class in addition to another class please shoot the known round last, again just to keep things fair. You may shoot in the same class multiple times but only your first round will be considered for awards any round after that will be considered a "fun round" at a discounted price.
The course will be pulled @ 2:00 on Sunday, please try to keep in mind by then we are hot, tired and have been there all weekend, help will be appreciated. Awards and door prizes will be handed out at 2:15 on Sunday July 17th.
We will have a grill going for the concession stand both days so plan to hang out and have some fun.

We will have a Night Shoot on Saturday the 16th come out and practice your poaching skills lol, registration around 8:30 p.m. with a shotgun start at dark.

We really hope to see everyone there.

We will set up the course tonight. Due to the extremely hot temperatures we are asking for all the help we can get so we can get finished faster. Please plan to help if you can.

WOW what a month! We had a total of 105 shooters for the day time shoots and 27 shooters for the night shoot. The scores from the shoot indicate everyone has been practicing or our course was way too easy

            Correction post:
John Turpin was actually 7th in the Known class with a score of 363
            Sorry for the mistake John!
