2021 Trad Harvest Thread

Fellas!!! It all went down yesterday evening.
I got my very first kill with my Samick Sage. I believe this is my favorite kill yet. I still can't believe I killed it with my recurve. Not my rifle or my compound bow, but my stinking recurve! Still smiling ear to ear replaying the hunt in my head over and over. I was able to share the hunting moment with my good buddy @andreww5001

My guy made an absolutely perfect shot. Hog ran 50 yards and tipped over. 20 yard shot for a first hit ain’t no joke! Congrats man.

I have been feeding for a couple of months. This sow showed up yesterday evening before dark so I slipped into my stand about 4:30 and about 6:15 here she came. The Palmer Longbow and a Magnus Stinger

Congrats! Thinning out the hog numbers is beneficial and fun. Doing it with trad gear makes it even better.
