Longbow woodie harvest

Had nice weekend with just the wife at 4D in Goliad. Took nice management nontypical 8. Put woodie out his off shoulder with the death adder. Still sharp enough to hunt with. Shocked usually break em as it comes out. I got lucky in both respects. Nice weekend saw some big deer.

Someday I want to stick one with traditional equipment. I just dont put enough time in with the old stick and string to be competent.

thanks, blessed to have been doing traditional for about 20 years. that first couple years you have to hit it hard but once you get muscle memory it just takes a few reps every year and its like riding a bike . I think I am more deadly from hunting stand point than my compound but I still pull it out when my trad gear wont fit the situation. I just pick a different stickbow every year to hunt with so all the girls get a go. all fun
