I’ve always cut my own staves In shelter belts in eastern Texas panhandle and western Oklahoma. Very easy to get permission or find a right of way with some Osage on it. I always cut standing dead so the cure time is short or non existent. You could come up here and cut a lifetime supply in a weekend.
