I’m so close to being 588 months old. I’m about 1.5 months from hitting it.

Depends on latitude just north of you our deer are hitting ground April/May most deer have a 200 day poke/dump. Pretty easy math, deer season hits on half’s. I guess I could get behind the OCD half thing but... it’s always been there. Just go with it Darts

I do not know what you people are talking about. The lease I have been on for the last 12 years does not have a buck on it over 4.5 errr 4 years old. I know this because our expert lease member with a degree from Texas A&M in wildlife biology class of 1980 (who owns a BBQ joint and has never held a job as a biologist) told me so.

I'm with you on this, the only .5 year I am interested in now is 59.5 so I can retire.

But if we are gonna gripe a little, if guys could stop with the "he's either 3 or 3.5"...or "He looks 5 or 5.5 to me"...that would be cool.

That just went over a whole bunch of folks heads. Drives me crazy.

My experience is they are very tender at .5 yrs old. Yum.

I posed this very question last year. Got mostly the same answers.
