Default Green heron taking a drink

As the title says. This is at a small, urban park in College Station with a pond and a very small island that acts as a mini rookery. Took this yesterday and ordered a print this morning.

A couple extras from yesterday

Great pics. The bottom pair are grosbeks. Once very popular fare in Louisiana.

Actually, they are yellow-crowned night herons and migratory birds. Hope their popularity was prior to the migratory bird act.

Yep, they are night herons, but they were probably consumed for a time after the act. Cajuns are not generally inhibited by game laws.

Awesome work as always! Where do you order your prints from? I have a picture (sunset) that I'd like to get printed (panoramic) into a good sized piece.

I order through Bay Photo. I know some folks use Mpix and I have in the past but I'm good with Bay. It is gotten costly so I may need to look around again.
