Heading west to Robert Lee tonight, but we have to leave early Sunday, so scout Friday and hit it hard Saturday.

We had a few strutting birds in late March on camera, but our feed ran out and everyone disappeared. Reset feed this weekend. First camera check since season, some good 4/5 yo deer survived.

It’s drier than an engineer’s sense of humor out there.

Yes it is. We have a slight chance within the next week for some rain so hopes and prayers there. I have been out twice and haven't heard a gobble one anywhere. I have heard a few hens but that is it. Several deer on cameras and several pop-bellied doe running around so hopefully a decent fawn crop this year.

Christoval looks to be right in the path of the last cell passing over. We’ve caught a few showers per the camera. Don’t know how much but taking anything at this point.

This rain could keep us from another 2011. Still dry as all get out, but going into spring in 2011 every one of the rains missed similar to this spring.

We are south of Christoval. Lotta green radar that's not producing anything but sprinkles so far according to my coverts. Need some yellow or red to pass over. Sonora area is being greedy and taking it all.

We missed it too a little further west. All around us every time. Caught about .2" last go round on about half the ranch, that's been about it so far this year

The rain missed the lease again. It’s scary dry out there. The drought of 2011 was horrible…This one is very comparable so far.

I jinxed it..............Next time......silence!

Our place registered .35" at our camp and .45" in our south pasture near S.H. 277. The pastures furthest east of 277 got the least amount.

Prayers for rain in our area are continually, I will say we were blessed with puddles last rain and lastnight was enough to settle dust down.

Good rain last night for us south of Christoval. Two good waves and man did we need it. Was out here for a couple of days filling feeders and it was reaching 2011 levels. Been awhile since we seen puddles in the pen. Will get amounts later.
