    I don't think you'd be sorry buying a Sany.

I’ve always been a Cat guy, but as our fleet grew, we went shopping. Sany costs less to buy, has a great warranty and great customer service, but you will give up money on resale. They don’t hold their value like Cat, but we’ve been very happy with them. I own everything from minis to SY365 class. Right now, I buy whomever can deliver next. I ordered 45 pieces of iron last year and only got about half delivered. In other words, take what you can get.

I’ve been looking into buying a mini x. My Cat salesman said 6 month lead time for a 305. He does have 2016 rental unit for $80k. No thanks. I might call and get price on a Sany.

I think the Sany SY50 and 60 models are about the same weight and HP as the CAT 305. Those are priced at 50 and 54k at my dealer.

I went ahead an ordered the Sany. Should be ready on Monday. Got the hydraulic thumb along with a 12 and 24 inch bucket.

For your uses it will be a great machine, if you were going to be working it day in and out I’d recommended another brand but you will be good to go. I’ve ran one of those a lot on a job site and it worked great. Now you can fix stuff that didn’t need fixing

I’m going to look at 60 on Monday. Did you order a 60? Where did you get it from?

No, I bought the 26U. I got mine from Texas State Rentals in Tomball.

                  That’s where I’m going too.

Make a post if you decide to purchase one. I would have loved to get a larger machine, it just wasn't in the budget and I didn't want to buy a larger trailer.

Will do. Completely understand. Post the picture of your machine when you pick it up.

It is Chinese. I am a Heavy Equipment Specialist...Consultant with almost 50 years in the business. I wouldn't buy one.

I looked at mini's for on the farm here. But I think I'd be better off with a backhoe. I have mud, too, but since I'll own the machine, I just won't use it when it's too wet. And having a front bucket has a lot of value, also.

30 years ago a seasoned consultant wouldn’t recommend a Kobelco, Komatsu or Daewoo either.[emoji6][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]. It was hard to get me to venture from CAT, still buy a lot, but there are value options that hold up well.
