What part of Texas? It's been happening IMO. But not every lake is the same.

It’s already happening in Central Texas for sure. Much milder climate. They are already being caught on Lake Fork. Still a few weeks out for North Texas lakes.

Yep already happening in our area. I bet there are plenty on beds this weekend after the warmer weather.

I think they definitely started to move on beds. This week with the warm weather should really spark things up. Headed out in morning to see what they are doing. Caught this one on Belton last Sunday flipping a jig.

They are on Rayburn. I actually think they have been for some time, just not all in one large wave. I think With the crazy weather and low water this year it has been a long spread out spawn. I know I saw several beds some with fish some empty 3 weeks ago on lake nac.
