Not a lot tears me up, but the dreaded Father/Daughter dance - and most of the usual songs for this dance - sure seems designed to do just that.

In an effort not to make a fool of myself in the spotlight (I need no help in making a fool of myself) I need a song that isn't a tear jerker.

And my dancing skills are pretty much limited to slow songs.

Daddy’s Little Girl by David Glenn. David is a good friend of mine. He played this song for my wife and her dad last month at our wedding.

My BIL passed away on Christmas day ‘17. I took my 9yo daughter and niece to their school’s most recent daddy/daughter dance. “You are the reason” by Scott Callum was one of the songs played at his funeral. She had gone up to the DJ and requested it then came to me and asked me to dance with her.

6’3 375lbs bawling my eyes out halfway through the song.
