Well not really. E-trade and Suretrade and other were restricting share buying of certain stocks as far back as the 90's. Most restrict some stocks all the time using their own rules. I've never seen their internal rules.

But they all restrict certain stocks. Although most are either grey sheet or pink sheet stocks that don't meet requirements. But once in a while they restrict based on other factors.

I don't like it but it's always been like this to a point.

Did you look at puts yesterday?

Stock trading at $350 March 50p were like $20 LOL Puts are saying the stock will fall under $30 soon. That's crazy.

Ride out the drop. It's the folks inside the trading groups (TD, Fidelity, webull, etc...) trying to appease the hedge funds. Hold and buy more. It WILL pop back up!

I got lucky and sold 500k shares at .0051 I was up a ton... But then the bottom fell out and I couldn't sell the other 500k

So ended up about break even which blows... I seem to screw it all up LOL
