Food shortages are continuing in 2022 and are being reported nationwide. They impact produce, meat, cereal, canned goods and more as inflation rises.

So can we bump the thread - Is America becoming a 3rd world Country?

Or will I still get talked down to for asking that a few months ago?

If there is any good that comes out of all this, the food shortages, the high inflation, the lockdowns, the govt mandates... it just might ensure the democrats won’t win another major national election for at least a decade or more. America is waking up to the Real cost of socialism

There are non stop semi-trucks on the highway....we can't be that short on things. Unless they are all hauling materials to build the wall around DC

I'm not arguing with this but I've heard people say this my question is exactly how are people getting paid by the government to not work? I thought all the extra benefits were stopped? With the labor shortages I guess it's true that some people haven't returned to work but how are the surviving?

I guess I should have added assuming we have fair equitable elections moving forward. Hopefully states and the GOP are preparing for it in coming elections

I have heard that everyone is living off their credit cards now. Good luck to living like that. Will be lots of repo's the next few years. JMO

I didn’t research where all y’all live but Braums, Wally World and Brookshires in my area are fully stocked. Went to Sam’s in Tyler Tuesday and they had paper towels and toilet paper sitting everywhere.
Y’all must not be living right.

Read it a few years ago. Really made sense to me. Seems like that was one of the last books before Joel decided to flip-flop and start shipping food across the country.

Suddenly local food makes more sense than ever. My sales have been strong the last several weeks. Seems several have gotten out of the farm-to-table business around here, but those of us sticking it out are doing pretty good right now. My feed is organic, so I’m not crying about Round-Up going up in price.

Grocery store near me has been absolutely packed lately. It's amazing how easy it is to instill fear in the population and make issues even worse than they are. Looks like being an evil animal killer has its perks though.

Everytime I see a large section of empty shelves at HEB, I place a Joe Biden "I Did That" sticker on them. Hopefully that TBHer doesnt turn me in, lol.
