I’ve killed two with a bow. One in Sterling County and one from Tom Green County.

Took one back in 2015 20yds. Flipped and flopped like an Armadillo and didn’t go anywhere.

Got this Tom with my bow in Nacogdoches county back in 2011. He walked by a set I had hung up on a hill in some hardwoods. He made it around 30 yards and piled up. I don’t think I’d shoot another one unless I was going to make a nice pillow or something.

I killed a much bigger cat a couple weeks ago, also with the bow. I don’t think I’ll ever believe the way that happened.

I got one on a morning deer hunt a few years ago. Called him in lipsqueaking and shot him at about 3 yards!

I hunted from 1981 to 2003 and never saw a bobcat in the wild. Killed 3 with my bow in 2004. I couldn't get away from them it seemed. Now I will only shoot them on our place in Red River County just to keep the pressure down on the turkeys.

I watched one at about 10 yards for over 10 minutes in the national forest a few seasons ago. I was just sitting on the ground and couldn't believe it never saw me. Never thought about shooting it.

Our last lease had a stand where I would see the same two every hunt.

I did shoot at one when I was 10 or so, never found it.

I shot one a few years back that climbed a tree after the shot and died. I had to go climb to get him.
