Website Development Question - POS

I am trying to help a buddy out and create a website for him. I am using wordpress and so far so good seeing as that I have zero experience in it. My question is what about the point of sale feature on a website? Is there one go-to company to handle all this that any of you can recommend? Thanks in advance

Have you considered shopify? It is very user friendly and handles everything ecommerce. They also have a POS app which allows you to charge customers for items in your store from your phone. Worth a thought unless you're dead set on wordpress.
