There’s an ongoing hostage situation at a nearby synagogue ( Beth Isreal in Colleyville TX)

The gunman is British Pakistani named Mohamed Siddiqui, brother of Aafia Siddiqui, a Pakistani terrorist.
He is demanding his sister’s release – more about her here:

Apparently she is being held here at the Carswell Federal Prison hospital. He probably thought he would get a bunch of hostages but Saturday services were being held online. I think he’s got the rabbi and 2-3 others

This hits very close to home for us. We were tuned in to the synagogue’s live stream for a little while before it was shut off. Bone chilling.

Prayers up that they are able to get the hostages out safely.

I was shocked when the reporter said it came to a "peaceful " end. While I don't know the details and how it came to an end, I don't think it was peaceful. But it was abc news.

This is why we have lost faith in the FBI. The terrorist picked out a synagogue on a street where he passed by a Catholic church, Lutheran church, 2 Baptist churches and a small Church of Christ. But the FBI wants us to believe this had nothing to do with Jewish people or their faith?

That statement jumped out at me too. So on a Saturday morning this radical Muslim decided to take some hostages but instead of picking, I don’t know, a Chik-Fil-A, a yoga studio or Pep Boys, he randomly picked a synagogue? Yeah, that’s reasonable assumption
