Back in Feb, 2021 I was diagnosed with Metatstatic Renal Cell Carcinoma, a stage 4 cancer. https://discussions.texasbowhunter.c...d.php?t=801605
I have been undergoing immunotherapy, 2 mg of Inlyta orally twice a day and 50 mg/mL of Keytruda intravenously every 6 weeks.
I've escaped most of the side effects but it does leave me extremely fatiqued with various aches and pains. My thyroid gland has also shut down.
On Nov 18 I had a CT Chest scan with these results:
1. Stable exam.
2. Stable mediastinal and right hilar metastatic adenopathy.
3. Further decreased size of a right upper lobe lung nodule now measuring 3 mm. No new or enlarging pulmonary nodules.
I also had MRIs of the Pelvis and Abdomen with these results..
1. No evidence of local recurrence or metastatic disease in the abdomen or pelvis. No significant change.
The scan and MRIs show that I am holding my own or making slight progress.
I'm in this fight for the long haul, and with the Lord's help I will prevail!
