Why would anybody care what Aggies think? You sound like a Tsip now. But since you asked, by the way thanks for spelling Aggies correctly, anyway, you have to play the cards that you are dealt. Aggies(Jimbo) are trying to build a team capable of winning it all, just like every other team(coach). Aggies are trending upwards and let’s see what happens. I agree with Jimbo and worry about what Aggies can control and not about anybody else.

Yep. No nfl receivers and not much run game. I thought O’Brien made some really O’Brien looking calls tonight, if I’m Saban I’d discharge him from the recovering fired head coach academy tomorrow.

Great win for the Dawgs, D still does it and they had a ton of it.

Hope everyone enjoyed the game. It is highly likely you will see the same two teams in the championship next year unless Ohio St. sneaks in.

Alabama goes undefeated and wins it all. They were a year early in making it this time.

No slight was intended, and I was just curious.

I suspect that if either Texas or OU or any other Big12 team, other than Baylor, had been in Georgia's situation last night, then I and some other Baylor fans would be thinking along the lines of "great, the rich just got richer, and things just got tougher for the rest of us."

Personally, I've gotten to the point where I tend to believe that there will pretty much be a small handful of teams that will orbit the CFPs year in and year out. Aggies will be one of them with their recruiting success. Texas, OU, tOSU, 'Bama, Georgia, Clemson and Notre Dame. Basically, the usual suspects.

The Big 12, once OU and UT leave, and PAC, may have occasional invitees who will tend to go one and done at the playoff level. It will be interesting to see which team emerges once OUT occurs. I think the conference competition within the Big 12 will be wide open with several contenders. If one of those can make regular playoff appearances, and win a few, then that team might be able to break into the top 10 recruiting club and join the legitimate party.

Much more enjoyable than I expected, especially with the Stetson Bennett storyline. I had not heard his story prior to the game, and when the announcers talked about his height and weight early in the game, my immediate thought was "he looks like a Baylor QB. Poor kid's gonna get destroyed." Fortunately for him, he has a lot more beef protecting him and wasn't running for his life all night long.

Very enjoyable game!

PS - I would be surprised if it's Bama and Georgia for the title again next year. Bama seems more likely, but there's still LSU, A&M, tOSU, Clemson, Texas (gag), OU (bigger gag) and Michigan circling with lots of talent. And injuries can change everything in a moment so some luck involved there as well.

Glad to see the Dawgs get revenge...honestly I love any team that can take down Saban....
The game sure changed when Williams went down...hate to see that, but Georgia dominated that 4th qtr.....

Enjoyed watching the game. Lots of big hits, big legal hits. Also agree that Young was in a different spot last night, even before losing his #1. Not sure that he has had that kind of pressure or been hit that hard. He seemed rattled alot. Balls bounced the right way for both teams. Early on Bennett dropping that ball and immediately recovering it. The forward pass fumble that was called a pass. (Why no intentional grounding on that one?) Bennett's forward pass ruled fumble where it was caught within a grass blade of stepping out of bounds. Not even sure if he realized it was a recovery, or if he was just naturally going for the ball. Great game none the less. Enjoyed it and this banter back and forth from everyone.

Kirby Smart took the UGA job on December 6, 2015 and his squad has competed at the top of the heap since he got there in the East. Hell, he took them to a National Title game in year 2 and won it in year 6. Heck of an accomplishment. His squad has only lost 2 post season games. I figure he'll add more trophies to his trophy case over the next few years.

Well, it's over. Time to win the off-season.

How is 18ncs this morning? Reserve that "19ncs" for 2022/2023. From what I saw of the game, classic game.

during his JUCO recruitment, Bennett committed to Louisiana Lafayette and changed his mind after UGA offered him a full ride.

Kid was the 3rd string QB at the beginning of the 2021 season and told he was never gonna play. Kudos to Bennett (RS-SR) for his perseverance and being ready when his number was called. Further proof that you don't need an elite, all-world 5-star QB to win a NC. You definitely need a QB who is cerebral, his team believes in him, and when under pressure he can make the game changing throws.

Nick Saban coached teams rarely get out-physicalled, and last night UGA punched BAMA in the mouth for 60 minutes.

Congrats to all the Georgia fans who have witnessed lots of heartache in the last decade.

Unfortunately I think the Cajuns will struggle going forward. They are losing basically every stud player they have to the portal and I think this will be a trend going forward for G5 schools. It will basically be an audition for them to jump to a big program if they show out at that G5 school.

Georgia has about 15 starters that will not be back next season. That defense is long gone. Several guys that are second on the depth chart are seniors. I don’t think you’ll be seeing that rematch in the NC next year.

I'd think there's plenty of reason to believe it could be. Team talent ranked No.2 behind good ol Bama.

Recruiting classes since 2018 are ranked= 1, 2, 1, 4, 3

It's a next man up roster that just won a natty with a walk on QB.

This is why you don't hear BAMA, Clemson, LSU, OU, tOSU, or Florida, fans...talk about "old" titles from 20 ish years ago, that don't matter anymore. Most people have no idea the gauntlet that has to be run to get it done, even if it's easier since the playoff.

Congrats to the Dawgs, on putting all the pieces together!

Q - Who's gonna challenge Georgia in the SEC East ?
A - Nobody , so they're pretty much guaranteed to play for the SEC Championship.
Win the Conf CG and UGA is assured a spot in the playoffs.
Georgia has been in the SEC CG 4 out of the last 5 years.
FLA is 2-3 years away from seriously competing for the East Title

This. Georgia be just fine.

Betting odds to win title next year:
Georgia +325
Bama 325
Ohio State 750
Clem 1200
USC, ATM, okla, mich, Nd, wiscy, Oregon, fla, ok st all +2500 to +4000

The east is a joke. Georgia can lose a couple games and still make it to the sec CG. Florida isn’t that far off, Mullen just made bad decisions. Napier will do well there and it won’t take him very long. Additionally, Huepel has Tennessee on the way up. The east will be closer next year than you think.

Correct, Alabama will stay in the West.

Oklahoma will be in the East with UT as their cross division game every year. UT and A&M will play each every year by being in the same division.
