2022 Trad Harvest Thread

Well, I’m tired and not gonna make it till midnight, soooooooo, it’s close enough to start the new thread!

I can thank a Texas cold front for starting off 2022. The temperature dropped and the mature bucks started moving. He came cruising past my ground blind around 10 yards and passed behind a scrub mesquite covering my draw. The arrow entered his left shoulder, taking out both lungs and the top of the heart, exited and ended up ten yards past where he was standing. He made it 30 yards, piling up about 15 yards behind me.

Definitely take the leap! I dipped my toe into it 4 years ago and now don’t even own a compound. My single string collection seems to keep growing though.
