Well NightForce just released something I’m highly looking forward to, which is unusual in optics these days. A 2.5-20 NX8 with good glass, good hunting reticle (MILC), in a somewhat lightweight package. Still weighing in at 28 ozs it’s not as light as y’alls Swaro’s, but Swaros BDC based turrets and reticles just don’t cut it for me. I’m very fond of my ATACRs and NX8, and have been waiting for someone to release an optic that will make me switch. This just may be it.

That's cool. Just got my Mk5HD5-25 from Leupold today. I hope I didn't jump too soon on a scope for my TBH build. As popular as it will be, I bet it would take NF months to build one.

That 4-32x50 looks legit too.

I usually go to the manufacturer and buy through their veteran program. Will CST and Europtic honor vet discounts?

I dont think you went wrong with the mark5. While im sure this NF will be a good scope theres also alot of other good ones around 30oz

I’ve killed plenty with a 4x Leupold. I prefer to be proficient with my rifle, and my hunting rifles get shot far more as target rifles than they ever will will hunting. I stretch them past 1000 almost weekly. While I don’t need an 8x erector, I do like a 5-6x erector. The combination of glass, wrector, reticle, and size make this a very attractive option for me though.
