POLL : Deer or NO deer by County 2014

Well, the 2014 season has come and gone for most of us. At times throughout the season, there were multiple threads of , "Where are the deer?" I believe this previous season was slow for a LOT of us, myself included. Some areas of the state maybe didn't see any changes whatsoever in deer #'s, however, many did. ( We can save another thread of debate as to WHY the #'s are off for later )

Just a quick poll / survey ; Above average, Average, Below average.

What county(ies) did you hunt in TX for the 2014 season, LF, and, how were
the #'s compared with previous seasons ? Feel free to throw out facts about your local area if needed.

    i'll start.

    Young county - Below average

Pala Pinto County - Below average.

But we had three gas wells go in, mid November till mid December, so I'm sure that had something to do with it.

Hamilton county: Same as what he said...

It was our first year on this lease and I saw only 2 legal bucks the entire season myself but we had a ton of younger ones around. Others saw a few others that were legal around but the biggest puzzle was where the heck are all the does?
