As for Arch I hope he does go to Texas. I just stand by the statement that loss probably wasn’t good to witness with Bama and Georgia beating on his door.
We caught lightning in a bottle that night against Bama. It was magical for all the recruits there to witness. As such Nolan is coming back. By the way the unofficial visitor list for South Carolina (the SEC version of Kansas) has 7-8 five star recruits planning to attend.

Game day for me fellars. Wish we were playing someone a little more relevant. Doesn’t seem to matter with Tulane. We seem to always play down to their level. Last four years have come down to last possession. Last year we won in overtime. It would be nice to come out and dominate but I don’t see that happening.
Oh I forgot-Pony Up!

Could be (8) five stars in town this weekend. Jimbo ain’t playing. Brinks truck will be parked behind the Bright Complex. Come early or stay late, just commit before leaving town.

See how easy that was Smart…..

I like Major, still friends with him today. He was a terrible practice QB, but he did have the ability to be a gamer. In the end, when you watched both of these guys during the week there was no question who should start. It did divide the locker room, but not as bad as what some people believe. Like most position battles, the team knew the better QB played.
Kind of interesting, after the game on Saturday I heard from a guy inside the program and he said, "Now you see the Casey Thompson I have seen over the last three years in practice". He was/is a Hudson Card guy. Casey gets the label as a "gamer" too.

Game day for the Cajuns also who travel to Arky State. The Red Wolves are having a down year (1-5) and surrendering 46 pts per game on D. ASU is ALWAYS dangerous and these 2 programs hate each other. Goes back to prior HC's running up the score to humiliate the other. Gonna be chippy tonight in Jonesboro as the Cajuns need to run the ball for 300 yds, control the TOP, and commit 0 turnovers. 42 - 24 for The Fight'n Boudreauxs
