Looks like a Marlin. Curious to see how they improved the accuracy. My old marlin is pretty accurate allready.

      Looks like I will be saving for a 444, and a 45-70.

Disappointing to hear they're replacing micro grooving

Wonder if they bring back the XL7 series. I love those.

Best thing to ever happen, they ain’t trying to save time nor cut cost.

There is a reason Hornady got Marlin to do ballard rifling starting in their XLR’s for use with the Leverevolution ammunition. It also works better with big bores.

If your Marlin barrel has astrix **** then it's Ballard.

Good to know. This maybe why mine doesn’t like the Hornady LR.

I've had good results from my old Marlins with micro groove, but even better success with my Ruger hammer forged barrel. If the new marlins shoot anything like my RAP, it will be great.

Sure hope they make it in .41 Rem Mag.

Would love to have a 1894 in 327 Federal.

Micro groove leads up too fast with lead bullets. If the accuracy on the new rifles is anything like my current Rugers they'll hit a home run.

Why would they they have the American. Better option all the way around really.

                              And yes i have both....

Now that being said i cant wait to see what they do with this and hope they start making some unique useful rifles. Would really like to see some

22LR 22Mag options sleek traditional but threaded with scope options would be great.

I aslo agree with the others would like to see them do more with the pistol caliber lineup. Some large loop traditional looking rifles with threaded barrels would be great.

I know there isnt alot that can be done to the lever rifle but i feel like Marlin has just kind of stuck with the same old thing for the last 10 years.
