We did Mario’s on the sea wall for early supper. Food was delicious.

I recommend them if anyone makes it down to G-town.

If you are coming from Illinois I would look at the Florida panhandle vs. Texas beaches

There is an awesome holiday INN aim Pensacola florida that we used points at and really enjoyed it.

The wife & I are going on a quick 2-day get away the 26th & 27th. Staying @ the Galvez, already bought tickets for Moody Gardens, dinner reservations Wednesday night @ Rudy & Paco's....looking forward to it.

Galveston used to be fun back in my younger party days. Crystal Beach used to get pretty crazy. The Strand is fun. Lot's of good restaurants. Plenty to do for famalies other than the beach. Kids don't care what color the water is.

I prefer clear water though. Port A to SPI is much nicer. PINS is better than Florida in some ways.
