Well, I had a little mishap in the bow blind yesterday evening... I firmly believe that my new Mathews VXR is defective, but that's neither here nor there. Thanks to Chew and DamonJ for keeping the details off the green screen.
That said, I wanted to give a shout out to Clyde's Archery in Corpus. I called Clyde after said mishap yesterday evening and explained that my VXR had somehow unstrung itself. He told me he didn't open until 11, but to meet him at his shop at 10 AM. I made the 113 mile trip, and he was waiting at the door for me when I arrived, got me re-strung, watched me sling a few, and told me I was good to go. He tried not to accept any money for his effort, but I ended up convincing him to let me pay for lunch. Clyde is a hall of famer and one heck of a nice guy if you're ever in need of a good shop in the CC area.
