Default One Spot Available on Trophy LF Lease in Mexico

It looks like we will have one spot open on our LF trophy lease south of the border in Old Mexico

8000 acres with all the amenities of home. It isnít cheap and when we say we supplemental feed we really supplemental feed. Not just if itís convenient. Youíve got to buy in to the program.

Ranch is located about 30 minutes from Colombia, all highway.

We average a feed pen every 350 acres and feed both protein and cotton seed. Combined weíve fed right at 100 tons this year. All blinds, feeders, etc are in place.

Not looking for the argumentative big deer ďEXPERTĒ.

If you are one that feels like you need to pull the trigger every year this isnít for you. If you canít pass big young deer this isnít for you.

If your socially awkward this isnít for you. If you canít follow some simple fundamental rules, this isnít for you. If your just a lease hopper this isnít for you.

If you havenít made it this far then again this isnít for you but if you have, now on to the good stuff.

If you enjoy growing big deer more than you enjoy killing, then this is for you. If you enjoy being around a great solid group of guys that their first priority is to grow big deer then this is for you.

Spot comes with trophy and management tag.

Our management philosophy is built around 3 simple fundamentals.

#1 Nutrition.... Raise the nutritional plane as high as we can afford.

#2 is Age..... many cull in younger age classes but unless you know your deer herd you may be doing more damage than good.

#3 is Genetics. Without #1 you really will never know what genetics you have and without #2 you will never reach your full genetic potential.

If Iím spending the money I want long term sustainable results. Thatís takes everyone being on the same page, same goals and like minds.

Your goals have to be driven around growing big deer and not killing big deer.

We encourage family and friends to hang out and enjoy what old mexico has to offer. There are some rules around guests during the season but for the most part we like to see everyone have a good time.

Weíve got zero time for dishonest folks. Weíre all pretty straight shooters and trust is the main character. We enjoy having a good time and all do what we can to help each other out.

This video will give you all you need to know about what we do and the kind of deer we are growing

Lease fee per gun is $6250 + expenses. Expenses run about the same all in depending on the year, rain, etc.

DM me for any other details.... Serious Inquiries only......

Fine footage. Does not help my curiosity of getting down there for the experience. However, between this and the other thread Im gonna have to quit my job to sell dope or my body to afford it.

Great attention to detail.... Left hand dominant. eats, writes, and shoots gun left handed. Shoots his bow right handed. He's a RH QB, bats either way... Not sure if it's talent or weird

“If you enjoy growing big deer more than you enjoy killing them.” Used to wonder how this was, but the last few years, I’ve enjoyed seeing, “what he’ll turn into” and hoping deer don’t get killed, because He “might blow up” more than killing a deer.... well besides one. Haha, well said on all counts.

Y’all look to be doing it right, and the proof is there. I like seeing your post, for one I just enjoy seeing big mature whitetails, and I also love hearing other people’s management practices.

Good luck, and I hope y’all find the right fit.

"If you are socially awkward, this isn't for you."

Yeah. Define socially awkward. It's socially awkward to state that if an individual is in your opinion subjectively socially awkward and therefore should not consider the lease.

I guess let me cut to the chase. If your a loner, don't like to be around other folks, and only want to show up when no one else is around then this isn't for you..

Man that sounds really cheap for that quality of deer. How many hunters on 8000 acres? I’d love to hunt Mexico but seems just so far away, I would have to stay 5+ days at a time to justify hunting there.

Fantastic video. I was going to ask about that deer you killed. When I saw him on the video, I thought he had to be 7.5 and was trying to figure out why you weren't lighting him up!

It would be awesome if you would post up some buck pics with your estimated ages on them. It would help out a bunch of us South Texas hunters struggling to determine whether a buck is 7.5 YO on the hoof. It's so dang hard to tell until you've been on the lease long enough to really know your herd!

Hereís one we harvested this year we figured to make the 7.5 cut on age and ended up being 170+ and 8+ YO based off tooth wear alone. Your absolutely right, itís very hard without history and knowing your deer herd year after year. Itís where patience has to override desire.....

We were all over the map with age on this deer. We didnít see him at all on the hoof and the TC pics we had definitely didnít help. He slipped up once last year and gave us a day time pic late in the season where you could tell he definitely had some good age on him. He was a hard one to hunt by Mexico standards but well worth the time put in to get him harvested

Badazz video and heard. I'd have to still shot a picture of the shot on the big 8 kicking like a bull. Soundtrack was perfect. Who is singing about cadillacs, south tx, and mexico? Thanks for sharing and good luck finding your guy.

Great video and super bucks.. Congrats to your son.. That one 4.5 year old buck has it all!!!!!!!!

Man Bobby that buck of yours had a HUGE body, dang. As soon as I saw him I knew it was yours but had no idea his body was that big.. That's crazy..
I would say pre rut our trophies will likely be no less than 220lbs with the heaviest last year 278lb and this year I believe 253lb

I can think of 5 deer off the top of my head that we let get older that will score better also
