    Hebbronville

Any Hebbronville hunters on here? What’s your thoughts on the rut there?
    Thanks

Just young bucks hanging around with does and some light pushing. Horrible weather for afternoon hunts. Mornings were cold but so bright with the moon. Was there from Wednesday to today. Going back this Wednesday to Sunday, hope to see a change in movement.

Went bird hunting near Hebbronville once, we killed 26 rattlers all day Saturday and until 10:00 am Sunday morning. Almost felt like a snake hunt !

Not as many birds as there were. Even fewer quail.

I’m on 1017 and our ranch is like Argentina. 10’s thousands of dove. There everywhere but we don’t shoot em. Quail was thick 3 years ago but haven’t seen many this year.

We had them real thick the last weekend of regular season.l but they moved out.
Good quail last year but basically zero this year.

Follow Hebbronville Deer Hunting Facebook Page. They have 100,000 acres in Hebbronville and keep updates pretty regular.

Hebbronville...That brings back fund memories from years past. We used to have a trailer downtown and leased the Vela brothers pasture along with quail property owned by Chris Huff. Good times.
