Another “What Happened Here?”…an Odd One This Time

So, by “odd” I am referencing what happens to the arrow.
What caused it to act as it did? I would have expected a pass thru. Or did I hit bone? Did it slap him on the side because he was moving forward? What’s y’all’s take?

My bumping the camera on the shot, sure didn’t help.

The usual questions for y’all to answer based on what the eye sees or what the eye may be tricked into seeing…

Is he dead or still running?
    How far he make it?
Catch lung, heart or any other good stuff?
Big blood trail or did it suck?
    Where’d the arrow end up?

    Thanks for watching and…GO!!!

not sure I saw anything "odd". Looked like a good hit, just stopped at the offside shoulder. Definitely hit bone on the far side. He's dead in 40.

      Didn’t go 50
Arrow broke off at 15 yds
      Blow trail medium

      What did I win?

Dang that arrow took a long time to get there, looked like it was in slow motion.

Is he dead or still running? Dead
How far he make it? You didn't find it.
Catch lung, heart or any other good stuff? Looked like lung/good stuff, not much penetration.
Big blood trail or did it suck? Sucked, no exit, injection plugged the hole.
Where’d the arrow end up? Probably broke the tail end off that injection.

        What do I win?

Hit a bone, no penetration. No recovery. The arrow didn't go in far enough for a kill.

Arrow went in and hit the opposite shoulder. He's dead somewhere not sure if you found him for lack of a blood trail.... Dang sure isn't worth getting a blood trailing dog out after him!!

To high for heart but got left lung. You didn't get a lot of penetration which makes me think like Dusty Britches that you hit bone on the other side.

I think he's dead if you had blood to track...

Is he dead or still running? Dead
How far he make it? 63 yards
Catch lung, heart or any other good stuff? Lung
Big blood trail or did it suck? Poor, if at all
Where’d the arrow end up? Most of it on the ground when it broke off.

                  What did I win?

I'm going to guess dead, hit opposite side bone and stopped. Plenty of penetration to kill him, they don't take much.

Surely that thing was slicing and dicing when he was running away. Lungs and wouldn't surprised if it cut other good stuff too.

He's dead, but he ran for a good while.

                      Poor blood trail
                      Arrow fell out....

Question for you Jeff....is your feeder usually that low to the ground? Or did it sink in the mud some?

A little high caught top of both lungs.

i paused it at about his second step, and you can clearly see a bright red spot heading towards the ground. Cut the top of heart and he died in 26

Stand and fill (cheapo) that’s sunk about a foot.
