      My uncle caught this one last Sunday at my favorite fishin' hole...

      But it's a pond on his ranch, so it's like hunting a high fence place...

      and we all know how folks on here think that's like not even fishing at all...

        First bass of the year - New Year's Day.

        Setting the bar high - this may be the smallest bass I have ever caught on lure.

                Point being, don't hang a big fish by the lip like that, there is a great possibility you will harm the fish.

                        Question for you drop shot guys.Do you prefer a spinning rig,or bait caster? I've never done it,but after watching the guys on MLF catch the snot out of em;gonna give this rig a shot.

                          I don’t drop shot often but much prefer spinning gear. Only time I use a bait casting equipment is if I’m power shotting.

                              Spinning real, if the water is dirty you can get away with heavier line.

                                Mike that looks like a little spotted bass
                                Might have been a Spot...I caught it in a small creek/ditch that feeds into lake Houston.

                                It was 6” long and that may be a generous estimate
