I am no expert... You need a water timer that can operate with low to no water pressure. The only one I found so far that works is a TORO Low Pressure Tap Timer. The tote has to be elevated even for this "low pressure" timer

In my experience the other timers did not have enough pressure or back pressure to close

He is 4 hours from the ranch, those other ideas will not work
