I have seen them all around the area but never hunted them out there.

There are definitely turkeys out there. I was on one of the units a few years ago, and two walked right in front of my truck. I couldn't get out and loaded in time before they disappeared. I chased a few around last year, having them gobble at me, but never came out

I just never have anyone to go with to stock and stuff I have seen fresh tracks and stuff but haven't seen any
