Ramon was a good dude. Solid as they get .

I'm proud to have been able to call him for help and stand next to him many times. Never once saw him angry or yell at soul.

It was just a horrible senseless tragedy that should have never happened. I heard on the news reports this morning that the perp, didn't even stop presumably because she didn't even know she hit the officer and had to be stopped by another patrol unit and was obviously very inebriated... At least two families have been destroyed in this senseless act!!


May officer rest in peace at the end of watch. May God have mercy on the perp's soul...

The defense had argued for a lower bond, claiming Spry had just given birth to a baby four weeks ago and she was the caretaker for that child and a 15-year-old. But the judge disagreed, saying it appeared she wasn't too concerned with her children's well-being since she was arrested at nearly 1:30 a.m. while allegedly intoxicated.

Good response by the judge, hopefully $275k bond is enough to keep her locked up where she belongs.

Good on the judge to deflate the defense stance of request for lower bond because she just had a baby & needs to provide caretaking while the judge reminds the defense of her carelessness related to intoxication as not showing responsible caretaking
