Slip2000 gets a lot of nods. I've changed to motor oil. There's a lot of guys that shoot a lot more than I ever will that have changed to motor oil.

Yup. Don't fall for marketing hype of a lot of products. Just about anything will do you just fine. A lot of people use motor oil because it's cheap and works.

There was one being promoted by a lot of big names (like Vickers) that was supposed to be the greatest thing ever. It ended up just being vegetable oil.

I always drain the last few drops out of the Mobil 1 bottles when I change oil in the vehicles. Put it into a small squirt can. Use that s#!) on everything. Even the arms.

Honestly don’t think I’ve even oiled my AR’s in years. Might give the BCG a wipe down every now and then and it gets some residual off the rag but that’s about it. Anything semi slippery should do the job

I put a light coat on the bolt and a few other surfaces. That's about it.
