Deer contest just for the kids. Youth weekend!

My son has had some lingering effects from covid that has limited his attendance at school and prohibited from playing football. We still go to the football games so he can cheer on his teammates. He has been really down about not being able to play. Well today the game ended around 4:45 and we high tailed from the fields to my parents to hunt. We get in the stand around 6:05 and within ten minutes a brute of a 10 pt that I had been hunting steps out. He makes good on the shot and we had some celebratory yells, hugs and he had some happy tears. For the moment he was on cloud nine and the stomach aches and headaches that have been plaguing him disappeared.
