We have several on our lease too. Color varies among the different types of sika. Dark one in front and the red spotted one on the right are sika.

Some sort of over fed inbred
. Looks like some red deer in the woodpile. But I’m pretty sure none of those cross breed.

Elk, sika and red stag all will cross breed, looks like a sika. There are several types of sika as well. No telling what you may see in the hill country.
