I have had 60lb bows since 2007....love the ease of draw and performance.

Never will I own a 70lb bow again.

I was 60 three years ago. And now 63. How can I stop aging?

All my bows are below 60lbs. Been that since 2008.

I currently have my 70 lb bow set at 65 but was limited this year due to a flare up from an old shoulder injury. I do have a 60 lb RX3 that’s never been set up but will be soon as I’m at least going to use it as a backup, will also have it ready for the lower weight purposes so my season hopefully won’t get cut short again.

Im coming off a 3 year war with lymes.

70# is no bueno now with what it did to my neck and shoulders.

If I cant find 60# limbs for my guardian, ill have to buy something.

In the 1990s I shot a Darton Viper that was 83lbs. Now I have a Hoyt Carbon Spyder at 60lbs. 26.5" draw. Arrows almost always on the ground on the other side of animal.
The other day I shot a 190lb boar through the shoulder and the arrow stopped just under the hide after breaking the far shoulder. He dropped in his tracks.
That's as good of a test as I need for penetration.
Deer barely slow the arrow down.Click image for larger version

Both my compounds are around the 60lb mark. I have worked real hard at physical therapy and can pull 70lb no problem. I just don’t see the need to.

Plus I believe having my bows set for a lower weight is having a benefit to the string longevity.
