Also, any tips for a seasoned hunter but an Aransas newbie and his wife coming down to hunt in rifle hunt 3? We know we need snake boots, mosquito repellent/thermacell, and lots of scouting. I have read most of the hunters concentrate on the parts closest to the private land (due to feeders) and that the brush can be high in some areas where you need to get up off the ground in some way (such as a tripod stand).
Any help would be appreciated as I would love for the wife to at least have an opportunity to harvest while we are there.
