White Bass Bait/Lure?

What bait/lure do you recommend for bank fishing targeting white Bass? I've never fished specifically for white Bass, but may give it a shot in the next week or so.

Road runner? Small rattle trap?

Lil fishy lures are excellent, Lil George's are good, I generally use 1/16 oz jig heads and use multiple colors. I always have white,yellow,chartreuse, and blue jigs. If the water is dirty blue are very effective. Caught lot on little Mepps spinner baits. If you can seine minnows in the water you are fishing and wade out with chest waders and a minnow bucket you can generally tear them up.

Minnows ! If you can’t get real ones, anything that imitates them.

If you have a fly rod, NOTHING beats a grey and white clouser. If spinning gear, tandem jigs or 1/32 white rooster tail.

Live shad if their is shad in your area. Nothing beats luring them in with their natural diet.

Speck rig for double-ups if you are really into them.

1/4 oz rat-l-trap is my all-time fave. Anything with chrome on the side, like blue/chrome or black/chrome always does well. Nice steady retrieve so you can feel the action and you will feel every strike.
