Default Tactacam reveal issue

I have a camera that is not working. I emailed them to suspend my account and I canít get anyone to respond. Iíve searched high and low in the app as well and canít find where to do this. Can anyone give me any suggestions?

Click the Camera icon in the app, then click the 3 dots in the upper right hand corner of the screen. You should see something similar to the following image.

I believe you can deactivate it there but I havenít tried.

To add, if you have multiple cameras on the same account, click the camera you want to disable after clicking the camera icon in the app.

The dots should the appear in the upper right.

I had one quit on me 4 days ago. Worked flawlessly for 15 months.

I'm sorry to hijack this thread but I need some help too. I am trying to pair one of my X's with the app. and I cannot figure out how to do it.

The blue wifi light keeps blinking so I presume it's not pairing correctly. And I'm sitting in my house with Wifi, so there's no excuses for a poor signal.

Can someone PLEASE help me with this??

Did you register an account and scan the QC on the inside of the camera door? Do this under add Camera in the app.

That’s all it should take. The camera should automatically be linked to the account you create and to the plan you select/pay for.

You should then be able to see the camera in the app.

I've done all those things, and it's in my app.

Does the blinking blue wifI light mean it's working? I thought that it would be a solid blue light if it were (working).

Also, I see something in the instruction manual changing settings in the camera when your phone is connected to the camera's wifi. How do you connect your phone to the camera wifi like that?

Haven’t tried connecting to the WiFi. I think the blink light is normal though admittedly, it’s been a couple of months since I set one up.

Turn it all the way on to where you have the green lights come on. I believe that once the green light stops flashing, it should be active. When that happens, you should be able to go into the Settings and check/change what you want to.

Their instruction manuals just a little more vague than I would like.

I'm not sure how much I like these anymore.

I'm getting notifications that I have pictures, and for a while I was able to see them, but now when I'm in the app. it tells me I don't have any cameras in my account. Well I wouldn't be getting notifications of pictures if I didn't have any cameras in the account, so I'm perplexed as to what the hell is going on.

Also, on the website, I was logged in but but it had me going to the create account page because it apparently wanted me to create an account, despite the fact I was quite literally logged in at that very moment. So I logged out and now I'm getting some kind of error message (com.amazonaws.cognito.signin.core.exceptions.Rate ExceededException: Rate exceeded) and can't seem to get back in.

I really hope this is something on their end and not something I screwed up, but their customer service is slow as Christmas so I really don't want to have to keep contacting them.

Anyone else having these same, or similar, issues?

Oh, and just for ****s and giggles I clicked on the + to add a camera it advised that I "currently don't have an active plan." Again this is quite odd given the fact that I got an email from them, today in fact, advising that my monthly subscription is going to renew on the 17th and my card will be charged accordingly.

NONE of these things that are happening make sense at all.

I am having the same problem with my gen 1 starting today. I was messing with it and got the same message. Signed in a few times and somehow it uploaded the pics but now it is not working again.

Are you able to see the photos? Or are you just getting notifications?

I've been having no camera connected to my account issues and no account when I try and log into My Reveal account oine.

I searched TBH and found this thread.
Had 6 deer @ feeder for over an hour and not one picture was sent. App was saying no pics on SD Card

Same here but mine happened last month. I had to send it in so they could reflash the board. They even sent me a prepaid shipping label. Firmware update didnít solve my issue.

Do y'all know if there's a way to change the time frame between pictures being sent? My cameras over a feeder and I'm getting dozens of notifications every morning and evening. I'm glad they're hitting my feeder but the constant buzzing is kind of a nuisance too.

Yes you can have them sent once every 24 hours 2x/24 hours or as they take them.

Well it seems something is up again. Is anyone else not getting pictures? For two days now I’m not getting anything, and being that my camera is on a feeder I know deer are there. And in fact I was at my feeder yesterday and it never sent a photo of me, though strangely when I checked my app later, there it was.

Having the same problems described here. Account now says no camera linked.online login is asking me to create another account, hopefully things get sorted out soon.

Mine stopped working yesterday yesterday. I logged out this evening and logged back in. All my cameras are working again.

If you have one of the gen 1 models it very well could be. As far as the reveals it sounds like it was a server issue on their end.

My app has been slow to load but works. Receiving pictures has been really spotty this past week. Hoping they get their bugs worked out soon.

Mine is back up and going. I was getting pic notifications, but when I went to app it showed my cams had not taken any pics and that my profile was not correct. All is good now though.
