    Broad head scar? Thoughts?

The Covert captured this girl with a scar behind her shoulder that looks just like a 3 blade head. No one has bow hunted down there this year so she could have cane from the neighbor. Thoughts?

Maybe ducked under a barbed wire fence & got hung up?

Doubtful it was a broadhead, there should be a hole and healing flesh. Especially right now, they are running a hundred miles an hour getting chased through the brush around buildings, farm equipment, fences, etc...Had one here that got caught on a fence and ripped her side open bigger than that, Amazing how fast they heal over.

I considered a fence also, figured the scar would be farther towards the back and not so much on the side.

That makes sense, I can get behind that idea

I think so also. Hide looks pushed up at top of scar.

I shot a doe one year, caught her too high and through the top of the back. It was with a 4-blade Slick Trick. She healed just fine and I watched her for 3 years after that, never would shoot her again. She got a free pass. It was always easy to tell her, she had a little white x where I hit her. It didn't look like that though. It was a nice clean X. I am with some of the other guys, I think she caught a t post or branch or something.

                    Agree with the fence theory.

When I enlarge the image you can see it's torn hide so yea, she ripped that open on something but it wasn't a broad head I don't think.

A broadhead in that location, she would not be on picture.

This was my thought as well, or an angled t post

Maybe you will get a picture of the opposite side. It if was an arrow and a pass thru, you should see it
