Good fishing over in that part of the state too, bird hunting as well.
Yes, going with Turkey Track. Bringing a few rods and hope to work in some fishing as we'll be right on the N Platte.

I hunted that last year. Great area. Weather was complete opposite, but I had bugles form the day I got there. Awesome experience.

Myself and HSBTGarcia are headed to Northern New Mexico for our first ever elk hunt the last week of Sept. I have been working on getting in shape and shooting as much as I can. I am beyond excited! For you archery guys what head are you running this season?

Lack of O2 to the brain can lead to many physical and mental concerns. It’s been a battle.

So looking for tools for my own rehab I stumbled upon breath work. Several content creators on YouTube have tremendous amounts of knowledge on the subject. I started practicing for 15 minutes a day. I like to DMT breathing cause you can really relax and control your breath when you find the DMT white light.

The thing I try to make improvements on is my ability to do breath holds for time. Both exhales and inhales. Work on building your time up on the holds.

I live just a few minutes from cibola National forest trail heads so I get to use the hills/mountains for my gym. The improvements on my ability to maintain my breath just amazes me as a person who has struggled with not being able to breath properly for so long. I’m going to continue to practice breathing as part of my preparation for long trail hikes with a forty pound load on the backpack.

I use Binural beats on YT for my guided breath sessions. They have different techniques of breathing. I would just look for some 15 minute sessions that use multiple techniques to start.

If you try an do some consistent breath work you will feel a whole lot better during your everyday life. It will help you make significant gains.

            Best of luck.
Thanks! I'm going to look into it and watch some videos.

I actually have a pack of these to try out when my arrows finally arrive hopefully next week.

You will find plenty of information on breath work. I don’t do Wim Hof because it is a little to advanced for my respiratory system. But he has a ton of information from people that successfully practice that method.

Joe Rogan has some information in his media services.

Plenty of the hard core back country hunters practice breathing as part of training protocols.

Oh man, you're gonna be spoiled after that hunt. Should be quite an elk hunt.
Hope you let us follow along.

I'm betting they get a bunch of calls from Texas folks after your hunt.

You might look into a walleye trip on Glendo while you're over there, best eating fish there is, imo.
Come over to the Laramie side of Laramie Peak and duck season opens Sept.24, Albany County.

                    Good luck !

What I read is that it teaches you to breathe deeper and it strengthens your diaphragm. But yes it doesn’t help in the regard to thinner oxygen levels.
